Ceramide NP is a mild ingredient that does not cause skin irritation due to its structure similar to skin lipid. It strengthens the skin barrier and fends off external stimuli. It keeps skin hydrated by sealing in moisture, preventing evaporation of skin moisture, and maintaining the healthy balance of oil and water.

■ Peptide

Nice for additional hydration

It absorbs well and is very light on the skin. I’ve used it through the winter as an extra layer of hydration and calm and smooth my sensitive skin (cold outdoors and warm heating indoors). Used it after a toner and before a serum. Will order again for the next winter.

perfect balance of light-weight and hydrating!

This is a great serum for combination skin that is prone to break outs. My skin absorbs and handles it very well and I do notice an improvment in my skin barrier (probably due to the centella). I sometimes mix my other "harsher" serums with this one which has worked well in preventing break outs.
