THE KOREAN SKINCARE ROUTINES
8 SKINCARE STEPS EVERY DAY MIGHT SOUND TOO COMPLICATED, BUT IT DOESN’T TAKE LONGER THAN 15 MINUTES.
IF YOU HAVEN’T TRIED THIS, I BELIEVE YOU WILL FEEL YOUR SKIN MUCH HEALTHIER AND BRIGHTER IN TWO WEEKS, AND YOU WILL JUST LOVE IT.
STEP 1: OIL-BASED CLEANSER (AT NIGHT)
“SKIN CARE STARTS WITH CLEANSING”.
Using one makeup remover on a cotton pad at night, you still find black remains from mascara near your eyes on the next morning. Truly to remove ALL makeup, we should start with a makeup remover wipe and oil cleanser.
Massage it over your dry face and neck to break up makeup and then add a splash of warm water to emulsify the cleanser. Massage again and then rinse everything off.
STEP 2: DOUBLE-CLEANSING
After the oil cleanser, use a water-based cleanser to gently remove the oil residue and water-based impurities from the day. You can start with cleansing cream or cleansing balm and finish with cleansing form.
STEP 3: EXFOLIATE
Twice a week use a gentle exfoliator to remove the dead skin cells. It will make it possible for the rest of your skin care products to absorb ingredient with clean pores.
STEP 4: TONER OR SKIN
It makes your skin hydrate and absorb the next products and balances its pH levels. Sprinkle one into your hands and tap it directly onto your skin or dispense it onto a cotton pad. I recommend SKIN rather than TONER for dry skin.

STEP 5: SHEET MASK
‘One sheet mask a day’ is popular now. Sounds like it is only for people who have the time? All you have to do is to put one on for 10-15 minutes and do whatever you want. Many dermatologists say it is better to hydrate enough with affordable products rather than an expensive cream only once.
Try a sheet mask as often as possible. Also, three times a week is better than never. Only if you have acne-prone skin, once a week will be enough. Unlike many cosmetic shops, I would like to recommend you to put sheet mask right after toner.

STEP 6: TREATMENT
You can apply a targeted treatment for dull skin, large pores, pigmentation, wrinkles, or acne. Eye cream can be applied in this step.

STEP 7: MOISTURIZER
Depending on your skin type, apply moisturizer to hydrate and nourish your skin. It’s important to find a moisturizer that works for your skin type. They come in many forms—
from a facial mist, oil, essence, serums, or ampoules
to emulsion, lotion, gel, or cream.

STEP 8: SUN CARE (IN THE MORNING)
Lastly, select a sunscreen every morning. It’s the easiest and most effective way to prevent skin aging. You can reapply it during the daytime.
Protecting the skin from UV rays will avoid the development of dark spots, wrinkles and fine lines.
